Soul Strings:Exploring the Sweet Music of the Harp

Experience the peaceful vibrations of a harp against your body as you strum the strings, and feel some of the stress of your busy life melt away!
During this retreat, each person will have a small harp to play. RoJean will lead participants on a guided tour, weaving the harp and music and scripture through their life experiences while sharing her own personal harp adventure.
No prior musical experience is required; the ability to recite the alphabet and count to 8 is all that's needed in playing some simple tunes and blending in with others in a harp ensemble.

On a personal note, RoJean has been married for 45 years and has two grown children and eight beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from 18 months to 20 years.

Mindy, a friend of Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center, wrote five original songs with music. She recently burned a CD of these songs and then donated the CD to the retreat center to aid in the ministry’s fundraising efforts. Copies of the CD are available at the retreat center for a free-will donation.
