There is power in the written word.  Sometimes there are letters that need to be written - but never sent.  Voicing our feelings offers hope for forgiveness, healing and love to happen in our lives.  We can heal our past, discover our dreams and be open to spiritual growth possibilities.  Unsent letters allow us to write what needs to be said without censoring our thoughts.  We can get angry, rage, express ourselves truthfully.  Tears might come while writing. Tears are a doorway to healing.  Tears offer an opening in our hearts.  We might write letters of thank you to our teachers, to those who helped in times of need.  We can even write to ourselves - to our fears and problems, barriers and blessings.

We can write letters - and never mail them - to our parents, to siblings and life partners, to God, to folks who have passed away, to anyone with whom there is unfinished business.

Bring your journal, a notebook or fancy stationary - whatever you think you might use for letter writing.

Unsent letters help us voice our true feelings, empowering us to heal our past, dream dreams and find the sacred in life.
