This Experiment uses drumming to send a wave of positive intention around the world. It will follow the sun for 24 hours–circling the Earth through each time zone–starting at 7:00 PM, Sept. 21, 2012. This event is for everyone, women and men, crazy enough to think they can change the world and for everyone else for whom they want to change it. That includes you.
Join the world in a creative cadence of celebration

This is the third year Tallgrass has supported 10 Billion Beats
40 drummers, aged 2 to 85, attended the 2009 gathering.
They came from Lawrence, Salina, Wichita, Emporia,
El Dorado, as well as towns through out Chase County.
2009 brought 40 people to Tallgrass for this event.  We had drums, pots and pans, cow bells and other assorted instruments.  The noise was a cacaphony of beating and pounding, initially.  After about 20 minutes a sort of sigh came over the group and the drumming was filled with a sense of peace and togetherness. Many were surprised when the hour was over.  It seemed to speed by!
